I'm afraid of flying. So when I have to fly, I ask to sit by the window. It just seems safer when I can see what's going on. If you moved me to the aisle, I would worry and panic, because I couldn't see everything that was going on. The pilot just can't do it as well as if I'm not looking out the window, spotting any stray airplanes or high mountains. But is my worry really helping the plane stay up in the air? Of course not. If worry won't add any inches to my height, it certainly won't add safety to the plane I'm on. So why worry? Don't we trust God, the ultimate pilot? Can you trust God for everything? Is there something you are worrying about right now? Will you trust God to take care of it for you? |
Camp Seafarer
This is an aerial shot of the camp. About 10 minutes by boat, down the Neuse River, is the boy's camp, Camp Seagull. Best two summers of my life. Contained the best friends I've ever had. My motto from my times there are: "Stay in touch with those who touch your life with love"~Douglas Pagels...he's right. Don't let go when you think you drift away from someone. Never EVER give up!
